UCL has informed me that I'm a "near-miss" candidate on their waitlist and they'll decide whether to admit me or not based on how other applicants fare on results day. I've been waiting for so long for the 18th (almost 3 months) that three and a half days should be nothing, but time feels progressively slower now... I'm also absolutely terrified. UCL has been my dream uni for so long. Someone tell me why I bothered doing English Language at all?

Why have you firmed and insured medicine? It's unusual to say the least for a medical school to ask for further maths as a requirement

Hmm. Not really sure, History went slightly below average, difficult questions that made me wish I hadn't taken it! Hopefully squeeze over the line. Biology was alright but you just never know, and CHEM4 makes me doubt that I've got an A overall in Chem as well! I have no idea how well I've done, I could end up with A*AA but equally BBB as well. Fingers crossed!

Edit: Yay!!!!! 1 mark off A* in Bio thanks to the ISA. In the words of Mr. Phil Collins, I cannot believe it's true!!!

99% sure I got an A* in Maths, and an A in Physics (although should be a high A). The one I'm not so sure on is Further Maths. Messed up one of the exams, so if I do get an A* it will be close, despite getting an A* in an A2 FM module a year early xD

My only worry is not getting into Cambridge despite getting 2 A*s. Results day I'll be hoping for A*A*A, but that unfortunately doesn't guarentee anything. Since what they said at interview isn't on my official offer sheet.

Without having to prepare for STEP I'm almost certain I would've got A*A*A*, which is frustrating but nothing I can do now.

It's not a requirement, it just means Further Maths is allowed to be in my 3A offer out of the 4 subjects I am doing for A-level. I insured it as it is easier than my other Medicine offer which states explicitly that further maths can not be included in my 3 A's.

At first I thought I'd got A*A*A but I'm now pretty convinced I've only got A*AB :frown:

I'm really not keen on industrial economics so if I don't get into Bath then I'm going to have to go through clearing :s-smilie:

Edit: I made my offer! Absolutely ecstatic considering that A*A*A was the highest I thought I could achieve and I managed to get it! Hope everybody else experienced the same success!

I'm absolutely petrified as I can't imagine going anywhere else but Leeds! I think I might ask Sussex to release me into clearing if I don't get into Leeds, as I really don't think I want to go there. I'm really annoyed as well because I was definitely eligible for Access to Leeds, but being on a gap year, my school were really uncooperative so I didn't apply in the end, but now that results are looming, I'm feeling like I really could have done with that lower offer D: Especially with Biology (got a D last year) so I don't know how I could get an A because I find it SOO hard! I definitely think I did better than last year, but I'm still really worried, so hoping that if I get an A* in Psychology, paired with my A* in Lit, a lower grade in Biology won't matter too much. Aahhhh, this is all so stressful!
