why first!?!? putting hot water on first is so much more satisfying since the tea gradually turns the water brown. does the milk go brown? how do you know that the tea is as strong as you want it when the milk went in first????

it genuinely baffles me.

Big debate at TSR towers at the moment...

When making a cup of tea do you put the milk in first before adding the hot water or after?

Depends how you like your tea to taste - Milk first tends to give the tea a more creamy taste and also makes the tea lighter. Milk after the hot water has a stronger taste as the teabag has fully infused in the water before you added the milk.

Personally I prefer to put milk and teabag in first before adding hot water

lol conclusive results
i drink green tea
People who put milk in first can't be trusted
It's a crime to put milk in before water!

Indeed lol
I never add milk to my tea. Always three sugars and no milk.

If I make it for someone else, though, milk is last.
When I make tea I will put the milk in last after I have let the tea bag brew in the water and removed the bag. I can't stand it when the milk goes in first as it is hard to know how milky it is going to be ( I like it really strong). The only time I will put milk in first is when I make a coffee
