URGENT: health and social care certificate

Hi, does it matter if your health and social care certificate doesn't include your middle name on it?

Certificates should have your legal name on but I think you d be okay :smile:

I don't think it matters. My son did H+SC and around the same time changed his surname by Deed Poll. But we did it [I had to officially apply as he was under 18] with plenty of time to spare before he was issued his BTEC certificate. I would personally say, because of the nature of the type of work you will be going in to that it would be best if all your middle names were included on all your certificates. Just makes things simpler for your DBS check, etc. My son has his middle name on his certificates,and his Enhanced Disclosure Certificate every year as well. Better to e safe than sorry.
