is it possible to get A for A2 with a Grade D in AS?

Of course its possible. You just need to start planning what you are going to do to improve next time round. Where do you think you went wrong?

Without resitting, i still have a chance to work harder to get A despite my grade D for AS right?

I would say it's possible, but that would mean you'd probably have to aim for A* for your A2 exams, which is honestly not an easy feat lol. If you can, retake your AS modules. It'd make it a whole lot easier to get that A if you retake and then end up getting an A in it. :smile:
Aim for full UMS at A2
I got a D last year and an A this year, but only by retaking the D grade. It depends on the subject, but if you're aiming for an A you should really retake. In another subject it was hard for me to get an A just because of one C grade paper even though everything else including coursework was an A, so I imagine that a D grade would drag everything down significantly.
