Stereotypeser are hypolised caricatures based on observed pre-conceptions which have an element of "truth" in them. So in a way yes they're an accurate reflection

Durham- Full of private school kids whose parents want a uni to boast about at dinner parties even though their kid isn't a genius.

All london unis apart from LSE/Imperial- Full of pointless, artsy, non-STEm degree types who most likely support Corbyn.
Durham: Oxbridge rejects and wannabes
Imperial: nerds, virgins, all wanna go into banking
UCL: arty linguists, smoke weed
UAL: arty types, hipsters hipsters hipsters
Oxbridge: all work no play
LSE: 6ft handsome lads who want to go into finance
Kings: chilled out, normal people
Bucks New Uni: failed to get in anywhere else
Warwick: failed Oxbridge

That makes no sense.. we're not implying that we are the reason why they're better in different faculties, but generally you'll have a higher quality of education if the research department is better.
