I looked back at the paper just now and I honestly can't remember what I put it was a big mess! I'm probably gonna get a really low B in Physics. Also bricking it for Biology because I really want an A!

Same! Getting a B would be lucky. I guessed so much that looking back at the answers doesn't help me predict at all. Maybe I should just wait for the GBs to be released

Hope you get your grades, good luck to you too

Forgot to include mine lol

Biology: A
B1: 42/60
B2: 43/60
B3: 48/60

Chemistry: (maybe possibly) A*
C1: 47/60
C2: 53/60
C3: 47/60

Physics: A (if lucky)
P1: 43/60
P2: 37/60
P3: 41/60

Wow, that would be great! Hope you achieve these results. Btw, what A Levels are you taking?

Anyone else feel like they did so much better in their mocks? :s-smilie:

Oh yeah, I do.

I think it was mainly because I was not stressing out in my mocks as I was in my real exams which made my mind go blank and I ran out of time on most of them!

Anyone got any thoughts on the AQA German tests? I found the reading quite easy and the listening mediocre so I'm thinking the grade boundaries will be similar to other years, maybe?

Original post by sahil19
I thought both papers were quite nice tbf, I think they may go up by two/ three marks.

The listening I found difficult, as did many of my peers, I suspect that the listening grade boundaries may go down (if we're lucky). In relation to the reading, it was also quite difficult, however, I'm unsure as to if the grade boundaries will change for it.
Please tell me what you think i'll get for bio:
Unit 1: 40-42
Unit 2: 45-47
Unit 3: 8-10 (didnt revise)
Isa: A (80 Ums)
I feel as if I cannot possibly wait any longer!
5 more days left and im stressing out like hell

What you think you've got:
Maybe a few B's, one A and perhaps a few C's :'(

Predicted grades:
Everything B except for one A

What you've actually got:
Hopefully, the opposite of what I think I got.

How are you feeling about results day?
Terrible. Although, I haven't really thought about it much. I'm on holiday so thankfully I haven't thought about it a lot.

How are you going to open your results?
I'll run outside to open them and try not to show any emotions while still inside

What A levels are you doing? (if not what is your alternative)
History, Law, Mathematics, Psychology

Are you going to record your GCSE results on YouTube? (If so I can't wait to see it!)
Maybe, but I don't think so.

I typed in all your predicted scores to the ums converter last year and you got a little over 270ums marks which is a high C grade
B1 A 84ums
B2 A* 92ums
B3 U 20ums
Isa A 80 ums
276ums ( 4 off a B grade)

No it wouldn't. Exam boards are doing resits for the old spec for people who are 16 or above as of 31st August 2016 and there will be chance to resit the legacy GCSE Maths and English in November 2016 and June 2017

That's good, at least it makes it simpler

If I add up all the raw marks required to get an A*, and I add up my predicted marks and I meet that boundary, does it guarantee my A* grade? Providing that I'm adding up the boundaries from the correct series of exams obviously. Or would I always have to convert my raw marks to UMS?

This is for AQA science btw
