Should I get it remarked?

I was very disappointed with the C that I got in AS Edexcel Religious Studies as I had worked so hard and had been getting A's most of the year in my essays. I was 5 UMS points away from a B and I'm unsure whether to get it remarked or not. Any advice?

Does it count towards the a level grade? If not then no but if yes then at least ask for your script back. 5 ums is half a grade away so don't waste your money unless your sure

are you doing the new spec? is it linear?

RS hasn't changed yet so the AS does carry forward to the full A level.

i dont recommend you getting it remarked as 5 ums is quite a few marks off and it is highly unlikely you will be given extra few marks. However you may be able to resit the paper next year while you are doing A2, you can check with your school if you can?
