SQA remark

I am considering applying to Cambridge in a couple of years time. This year I sat my N5s and got all A1s. I also sat Higher Geography but unfortunately I missed an A1 by 1 mark.Is it worth going for a remark or just leaving it?

Hi there,

Considering you still got all A's (And all N5s at A1's), dropping one band should be negligible. Remarks are typically only granted for those with low grades, either if someone has failed, or they get a C when they were predicted or sure they got an A. Of course, there is no harm in asking, the worst they can do is say no, just know your case is absolutely not priority.

Hope this helps,
