Get a remark. You need to try at least.

Thanks! How do I find out how far away I am from an A*? xx Sorry :smile:

Exam board and specification?
I got 8a*s, 2as and 2bs (maybe 1b, I'm getting a remark). Do you think this is good enough for Cambridge or will the bs bring me down?
Do you think I should get remarks in these subjects for A*, A* = 360ums / 180 ums

Biology = 358/360
Physics = 353/360
History = 177/180
Pe 174/180

Does anyone know how many 'points' you need to get an A in edexcel maths? I got a B which is 46 points and i'm happy but just curious in case of a remark

I am two marks off an A* in Psychology. Should I get a remark or move on?

Unfortunately no :frown: my school is the only one in the area which offers computing which is the subject that is clashing.

You could self teach the course and then just ask your school to enter you for the exams.
Unless it's predominantly coursework. idk, never did computing.
I am a mature student (aged 24) going into nursing, sat my GCSEs just English Language and Maths got a D in both:frown:.... I have 2 small children and have been working whilst studying as a private candidate for these via the AQA gcse board... really gutted got into college but just disappointed in myself :-(

Maybe for History, but I'd leave the others tbh because of the nature of those subjects*

Points don't really mean anything - they just correspond to a grade. 46 points will always be an B matter how close you were to the next boundary.*

(If you're interested, 58 points = A*, 52 points = A, 46 points = B etc.)
I got 10A* and A^ (with distinction) in further maths
Oh man it only says final garde in maths is D...idk it doesnt say how far i was from a C :frown:

Whats next?

same on my sheet it doesn't give a break down for maths... I did alright though.

ask your head examiner to retrieve your breakdown.

Well depends if they're related to your a A Levels. I know someone who got 359 for Biology and 358 for Phyiscs lol
So here's what I got...

So overall if you count the FSMQ Add Maths A as an A* as there is none then..
I have achieved 10 A*s and 2 A's. No complaints from me
Quite disappointed:
2 A*
5 A
1 B

I know this is good it's just not what I had expected.
