What graduate starting salary would you be happy with?

In my line of work, I'd be happy with about £18000 as a basic basic starter, but more would be nicer :u:

Living costs are high nowadays. Earning £24k in London would be a massive struggle.
20k, is what I would like to get but am looking at any jobs in the field I want to work in and will mostly likely accept 16k and above depending on where the job is.

The market rate for the job I get. What's the point in feeling unhappy when you know your specific company/job will have a different pay rate to others? That's just a fact.
