advice on clubbing

hello all!

i come from a very small village with no clubs etc nearby only a few pubs so the party scene has never been great, barely even existing. therefore, i have little experience with drinking, partying, clubbing etc, which im sure there is a lot of at uni, especially during fresher's week...

so, i would like some advice on the following:
-what to wearto clubs/parties etc (im a girl)
-what to order when you literally have no clue what to drink
-how to socialise with people and not hide in the loos

plus any extra advice! thanks and godspeed

Smart t shirt/jumper/shirt, jeans/chinos. Smart/casual
Beer, vodka with mixer (coke?) or jaegermeister
Get drunk and go dance

socialising will not be a problem at all when you're pissed
Go hard on the pre drinks so you don't turn up completely sober 💪🏻

yea I went to the clubs for the first time recently and literally everyone is sociable with you, guess that's what alcohol does ey
What to wear: Assuming you're a guy, jeans and T-shirt/shirt are fine (check dress code), generally wear shoes not trainers.

Go with other people so you are already with others when you get into the club, and since it's fresher's you're meant to introduce yourself and meet new people, just say hi and be friendly and try to relax.

What to order: Beer (expensive) for lighter drinking, or go with shots like sambuca, jager, sourz ect. Bomb shots Like jager bombs are also great. Drink with others for more fun. If you're unsure, ask others to recommend a drink.

Most importantly, have fun and don't do anything you're too uncomfortable with
Don't go clubbing, it is a wast of time, money and energy. Join sports clubs like squash, hockey or tennis instead.

Personally, I would advise you to grab the seal by its tail before you start the clubbing , this makes it easier to strike it's head and finish the job quicker

Good luck !

1) Depends on club
*****y uni club? Casual but not roadman attire
More high end? Smarter clothes like chinos, nice shoes. No need to over do it tho
Drug fueled rave? Whatever you like m8

2) Do not buy drinks in club. In my year at uni I've only ever bought drinks once. Get wasted at pre-drinks

3) You'll be with flatmates and probably pissed, so socialising will come naturally. You won't even have to think about it, Just enjoy the moment.

the best drink choice would be something colourful and fruity so say a screwdriver or a Harvey wall banger maybe a sex on the beach or a woo woo but they are well known and should be able to be made in any bar
