What she did was brave and nobel, and she has stood her ground in the face of intense criticism from the right. She has given a safe home to countless refugees who have been fleeing war and terrible conditions.

I think you've made a very good post and history will look kindly on her for doing it. Germany will one day be a stronger country to, as it is good for any nation to have racial mixing - just look at Britain as an example, our long history is full of waves of inward migration.

I agree - Merkel's policy will enrich Germany. It will address their ageing population crisis, economically, and it will also enrich them, culturally, with increased levels of diversity which leads to a more tolerant and multicultural society.

Christians generally don't think that the Bible is the true word of God. That's the difference.

Neither do Muslims.

Muslims DO think that the Quran is the true word of God, fundamentalists or not. That makes reformation very difficult.
