I feel very selfish :(

Basically, I asked my mom to buy me contact lenses she said she would however the price for them is extremely high for us, yet she still wouldn't mind buying it. Should I just get glases instead? What should I do to repay her?

How often can contacts get damaged/ripped anyway?
Hi I wear monthly lenses and they cost £18 a month. My parents pay those bills for me. It all depends on how well you look after your lenses. They are soft so be gentle with them and rinse them with solution when you put them back in your case.

I'll just get glasses for now :biggrin: And I'll just get straight A's on my AS levels - then I'm sure my mom would buy them and I'll feel less selfish, if not, I'll just get a part time job lol!
