Do I drop business studies?

I want to study finance or something similar at a university in London although I'm unsure about one of my choices for AS and A level. I've decided to study Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics and Business Studies. Despite this, some people I know are only taking 3 subjects for AS and A Level and I was thinking about dropping Business Studies and therefore allowing more time to focus on the other three for the whole two years giving me more chance to achieve the grades needed for university. Do you think this is the right decision or should I take all four for two years?

I think it would be okay to drop business studies and just take 3 subjects for the two years, since most university offers are only based on three subjects anyway. Another thing to bear in mind is that some universities don't like applicants to take subjects with similar/overlapping content such as economics and business studies, so taking both may actually put you at a disadvantage.

Best of luck with your decision
