I went last year and it's pretty good. It's like your typical funfair but with Christmas music and a bunch of Christmas themed food stalls. Good to go with friends and try out the rides, arcade, food, etc...

I went to the German Christmas Market a while back, one that was close to the Tate Modern about 2/3 years back. Amazing food, loads of free mulled wine - would reccommend if you're up that way!

Really pleasant atmosphere, the most festive I've felt in a while! There were plenty of stalls located around varying from different traditional German Christmas foods (hot and cold food), to your standard Christmas cookies and baked goods, loads of mulled wine samples for free, hot chocolate vendors etc. with the chance to buy various Christmas gifts (lots of London themed ones bc tourism) around. Very cheap, very cheerful - a great evening out, I'd say
