Is there a clear favourite contender for overall victory!?
in motorsport related news...Monza's this week and so is the inaugural Mexico 6 hours (WEC). should be interesting to see how both races go considering a) ferrari may be introducing newly upgraded engines and b) I have a sneaky suspicion that the WEC boys in P1H cars will break the circuit record in mexico city

Not excited for Monza tbh. Have lost interest in F1 now, just really boring and all the drivers do is complain about everything. So annoying!

Oooh excellent! Still haven't watched the Nurburgring race yet haha! But hopefully this will be a good one!
It's also MotoGP from Silverstone too! And WTCC from Motegi!
Super pumped about those!

a) even if it works, ferrari will be getting grid drops :|
b) p1s more powerful than last years 1 cars, much greater downforce (which is beneficial in altitude as more aero grip), 4WD vs MR therefore significantly greater mechanical traction (good for stop-start circuits).

c) not been watching much races this year but completely agree about mazda. its a shame theyre abandoning diesel as I reckon that could have been good in p2 with more investment. in all honesty, i reckon the fia should restrict the aero of the fords a lot more. the care has more extreme aero than p2 cars and was extremely glad when corvette won (says a ferrari fan)

A: Lets see if they can beat 105 places like McLaren got haha!

B: Ah i thought you meant LMP1 record for some reason.
I dont think the circuit record will be beaten though. The new stadium section kinda ruins that. If they had the normal peraldalta, then it would be beaten!
But compared to the F1 cars last year, idk. Maybe they will go faster. I hope they do! But then the FIA will get angry again and will limit them on power again! The FIA hates the WEC! Hence the Baku/LeMans clash!

C: Noooo! Its been amazing this year!!
Theyve had the pace, but the team screwed them over! No no the diesel never worked for them, theyre much more competitive now! It was the right move! Unless rotarys are allowed in which case, a rotary Mazda wouldve been awesome!!!
This is IMSA though, their BoP works perfectly so its not an issue in the states.
Corvette are doing well this year, kinda had a disaster with the 4 car in VIR but theyre still leading the championship!
(ah youre a Ferrari fan i see, im a Ford/Corvette/Porsche fan haha :tongue:)
