Should I make flashcards or notes when I start my A level exams?

So, I usually use flashcards more than I create notes. I want to get high grades in my A levels. I have seen a tip of writing notes in a separate notebook once I start my A levels. Should I create flashcards instead? Or should I start making summaries from the start of the year on my notes and then condense some information into flashcards near exam time?
Notes will come very handy in alevel. Especially how u have to resit most of the AS exams in a2
Yes, and you should make Sporcle quizzes too. That is what I credit for my A* in History.

Definitely make your own notes using the specification as a guide. This is a must. I've never used flashcards but they can be useful to some people

I do full notes and then condense them onto flash cards a few months before exams
