How do you do the middle one with the x^2? I don't have a clue what to do as I'm confident I did it wrong when I got y(x^2+7)=x^2+9 then x^2y+7y=x^2+9 then x^2-x^2= 8+7y/y

Help!
Your algebraic manipulation is way off and inconsistent.
y(x2−7)=x2+9
→yx2−7y=x2+9
→yx2−x2=9+7y
→x2(y−1)=9+7y
and you can carry on from there.
Also don't make duplicate threads on different forums, this was well guided on the Maths forum for you and all you had to do was just ask for more directions since you got stuck.
