Yep! You'll usually have at least one of your parents being in your subject (though this can't always be possible). The second years should be getting details of who their college kids are in the next week or two, and then they'll be trying to contact you (usually through facebook) to say hi. There's usually a family group chat then set up and you can see who your college sister/s are! Then in freshers week they *should* do a college family night where you either go out for food or eat together - my wife and I cooked a roast dinner!
