What makes a girl (or boy) a boring texter?

I have this bad feeling about this guy, he barely asks me any questions about myself, it's always me getting to know him, and he takes ages to reply, but we're not texting on phones. When we talk it's on TSR or that dating platform chat, so maybe it's cos he doesn't check those often.
But I feel bad cos his replies are so much longer than mine. I'll just write a sentence or so and he writes so much more so idk if he's being polite to answer my replies or he's into me :/


Sometimes guys don't think to ask questions back, not because they don't care but simply because they're not always 'wired' to think like that. Try holding back from asking him direct questions so he's more prompted to ask you some, or just straight ask him if there's anything he wants to know about you. Or play some kind of 21 questions game or something.

You shouldn't feel bad, if he's not asking you questions often then you might have less to work with than he has to work with for you. Try and balance that and you'll probably find that the message length balances with it.

One major aspect of a witty remark is that it's dependant on the situation & context.
For me, it has to be one word responses that are the worst. Those are the ultimate convo killer for me.

Find the things he likes,,,,seem interested in them even if youre not really. I, however, am a firm believer in the phrase 'You shouldnt change for anyone'. I really dont know what else...I've never found it hard to converse in my relationship lol :s-smilie:

You're welcome. Only you can advance the convos, not me. Take some initiative from my tips.

And oml, take some ****ing charge, PLEASE. Ask him for HIS number if you want it, that's one hell of a way to show that you are romantically interested, so to speak anyway, or should start to show eventually.

No I can't. I was the one who started the conversation with him in the first place and started things with him, I'm not going to ask him for his number as well, I want him to want me enough to ask for my number

In one of my replies all I said was: yeah! D:, and he still replied back to me with like 3 lines of message. However it was a late reply :frown:
So yeah 1 word answers etc are the worst.
Or if they change the subject all the time and talk about themselves all the time!

One thing that annoys me is one word replies or starters. Also, lack of emojis? Makes me feel as if I've said/done something, or there is something wrong.

Damn, sometimes I don't understand women...

My ex was the first one between us to tell me she liked me and then I asked her out. I'm sure you can ask for his number and THEN let him figure out the rest if he's smart. He should realise that you took a step forward enough and now it's his turn to respond. I start conversations with my friend's all the time, doesn't mean I expect them to propose to me soon.
Go and rub one out, record yourself, turn it into a gif and send it to him. ADD A CAPTION AND MAKE IT A MEME

I used to use emojis but he's only used emojis twice in our entire conversation, so now I've stopped using them :frown:
