Investigation to misconduct at ASDA
Does anyone know the length of notice if have to give my employer?
My manager is bullying me out and saying I've done things I haven't and then now is getting me done for misconduct/gross misconduct. I've worked at my store for 5 years and have seen 6 managers come and go. I'm wondering whether to work my notice or resign with immediate effect. Has anyone been in this position?

It's usually about 2 weeks, although the definite answer is in your contract. You could resign with immediate effect, although they may refuse to give you a reference for this and as far as I'm aware can take you to court for it (although I have never heard of that happening)
