If it's small, which will look a lot nicer with the thin lines imo, I'd say on your wrist or lower arm as you said or in between your thumb and index finger if its really small.

I don't think it will be as small to put it on my hand. But yeah, the arm area is appealing to me cause I can have it at an alright size, not huge or anything. Don't want to draw attention to it, it's for me.

Ribs and feet were always a no-no for me, simply because of the pain. And I am really bony there. This will be my first tattoo so I am a novice. Heck, I don't even have my ears pierced!

Upper chest? Shoulder-ish area? Can be concealed and allow larger sizes so less chance of smudging over time.

Oh, I am fricking terrified. I am fine with needles, it's just the thought of it. But I want something for myself, and I really like it.

Also visibility, perhaps you should go for an area that is easy to cover up, for your first tattoo.

Having looked at the tattoo and it's meaning I'd suggest maybe you put it on your chest, like right in the middle.
Not the least painful of places but it would suit the meaning.

I'm leaning towards somewhere on my arm. :yep:

Once I have firmly decided though I need to then find a place to get it done. If I was at home, I would go to who my daddy has went to for tattoos, but I am at uni.
