He says that not a dot or an iota of the law would pass until Heaven and Earth pass away - that is to say, until judgement day. How else could that be construed other than that the rules are still in effect and should still be followed?

I understand what you mean when you say that Jesus' crucifixion makes other sacrifices redundant, but you can't say that it removed the laws against seafood, mixed clothing etc. without also discrediting the Old Testament verses you quoted earlier in this very thread explaining why homosexuality is sinful.
