Prostitution makes me feel sick.

That's all I'm saying on the matter.

But is he a paedophile? thats the hallmark of a Labour MP

Who cares?

All aspects of prostitution should be legal (save soliciting on street corners I guess) and all aspects of MPs' personal lives should be irrelevant.

why? public figures deserve scrutiny.

Just as many Tories and Libdems have been scrutinised as Labour ones.

From reading the articles it appears as though he paid with cash money. The coke and poppers were additional purchases.

It's important, you see, to correct such slander like this against this fine man who had unprotected anal sex with a prostitute before going home to his wife.......

The facts make all the difference.

Apparently he's now telling people he was drugged, so he didn't know what he was doing. Also there are stories that he got one of the charities he runs to pay for the prozzies. Presumably he was drugged into that as well.

This.

Nah, I didn't have an issue with that. I'm in favour of poppers and the legalisation of sex work. I did have a problem with tabloids outing him in this manner, right up until the moment I read about his Moral Guardian status. It's always hypocrisy that bothers me, and his attempt to censor things he deems 'immoral' whilst he's engaging in behaviours that many would deem to be similarly 'immoral' irritated me.

Basically I'm in favour of liberal societies which are non-judgemental. He was judgemental to other people so I don't sympathise with him being a victim of judgemental tabloids. I hate when tabloids out people as gay, except in cases where the individual is homophobic, this is somewhat similar.

He's a 5-star creepy liar and wheeler dealer. One example is the Rushdie affair, where he actually promised Salman Rushdie that he would support him, then he led a march in Leicester supporting the Iranian Fatwah with signs calling for Rushdie to be killed, etc. Horrible stuff - he really will do anything to keep that seat of his. Makes you wonder what else he's been up to over the years.

**** Muslims, since they use escorts more than anybody else.

Yeah they just don't use Males or let the press find out about it

Keith Vaz used the services of male prositutes, making him a possible pimp.

HTF do you suggest he controlled prostitution for gain?

Original post by neal95
Yeah it's disgusting and deceiving and the .. voters of Leicester won't vote him back in because of this and so his political career is effectively finished now

That he's bisexual has been discussed in the Asian communities for at least twenty years, so it's not going to come as a surprise to his constituents.

How do you know his wife didn't know?
I tend to feel that a lot of people miss the issue here. I do not like the idea of prostitution been legal since many people in the trade are vulnerable and been exploited. However I don't think you can stop it really because the trade has gone on through out human history across various cultures, It seems something that is quite natural to us.

so maybe the best thing is to legalize it but regulate it to reduce exploitation. Though I don't like the practice would not engage in it and would think less of people that did.

What we see here is complete immoral behavior betraying his commitment to his family, if someone can betray their family and their life partner who won't they betray? how you can trust such a person? I mean its not like he met someone else and just had an affair thats bad enough this was pure self indulgence in hedonism.

However it goes further he wanted to support something not because he thought it was right or wrong but because of his own selfish desires and habits something which a large section of society disprove of. That is corrupt.

However here is where it gets really bad, and this seems to be a pernicious character trait of the left wing at the moment making them very dangerous.

He looks to condemn the media for criticizing or exposing him, that is the media's job to act in the public interest. Jeremy Corbyn's train incident when he too wanted repercussions for Virgin daring to expose and contradict corbyn. they can spin it but the mentality is criticize me you will be punished.

If this current Labor administration ever get into power free speech is dead, because anyone that criticizes them will be penalized. media shut down. Dealing with the supporters of left wing who constantly try to talk over you slander you as racist or sexist, never let you get a word in edge ways physically assault you etc their politics is more on the extreme totalitarian areas.

I have many concerns with the current economy and how it specifically seems to cater to the rich, much of those favors done by the former Labor government btw. I would like to be able to support a left wing government that does not behave like stalin has sensible economic policies, not idealistic unrealistic communism, not running at huge deficits etc. Instead I am constantly left voting for the Tories because of this constant nonsense.

Something sneery and a wee bit condescending in that choice of washing machine salesman. :teehee: Suggests a poor self-image though.

? It didn't mention Vaz and if it was him, clearly nothing came of it.

No it doesnt mention him but its widely rumoured it is defo him. Nothing came of it but that may change
How is his personal life the business of the layman?

Disgusting 'sting' operation with no regard for his privacy, whether or not he uses a prostitute is utterly irrelevant to his competence to carry out his duties as an MP.

Things like this can become relevant if the person is a superior, snotty individual with a penchant for giving moralising lectures, which Vaz has frequently been. It's also relevant if his committee are busy investigating the subject, as it clearly affects his objectivity and casts a sharper light on any statements he makes on the subject.
I'm not normally a Mail fan, but today they have a crushing list of Vaz's past activities - it boggles the mind that this man is still an MP.

One of the worst is that he actually fabricated evidence against a retired policewoman, making false allegations against her, as payback for a previous investigation she had been involved in.

He really should be kicked out of the House.
