If he wasn't playing professional football at the time, I don't think it should be punished. Looks like he was at Luton who were in the conference at the time. I think the comments should therefore be a police matter. But equally, I wouldn't have a problem with the FA punishing it to set an example, but it sets a precedent that could potentially get out of hand. What if a player in his 30s wrote something on MySpace when he was playing Sunday league football?
