AS Business and Economics

So i just had my first Business lesson today and my teacher told me that there is a smaller chance of getting into a Russell Group university to study Business if you take both Business and Economics at A-Level. Is this true?

I've seen quite a few university pages that note a 'narrow' selection of subjects can hinder your chances- and Business & Economics are one of these combinations, as they use much of the same content! It really depends what university you want to get to, (Russell Group ect it will make a difference). Also you can always drop one at A2 if you've got 4 AS!
