Cancelling Student loan

I was meant to be going to university this October and so applied for a maintenance loan and tuition fee loan.

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I am now having to take a gap year for medical reasons.

How do I go about cancelling my loans?

Just call up SFE and say you aren't going. If you don't turn up in person to university then no money would be paid out and it would be cancelled automatically.
