Well I got a = square root 1.5r. Is that right?

Yep. Though technically it would be plus/minus that answer, but that's another story for a different time.

The second one r=(2/3)a^2

Hi,You seem important on TSR. How long do GCSE raw marks stay on the schools system and can I ring up the exam board and ask for my raw mark?

Also, is GCSE maths easier than a level?

A = + sqrt of 3r/2
A = - sqrt of 3r/2

If you're dealing with fractions, keep it in fractions.

Just call up your school and ask for the raw mark, they can be able to help you, rather than the exam board.
