Anyone a vegetarian / vegan?

A part of me wants to but I simply can't be bothered.

I'm planning on being raw vegan very soon - I just have to research what I need to eat.

Raw food is the best because cooking typically removes nutrients (so by eating raw you'll be healthier all round) and veganism is good because the more people be vegan, the less animals will get exploited and treated badly.

The notion of eating raw food all the time as being somehow beneficial to health is pure quackery. Nothing wrong with raw sometimes, but the nutrients argument is incredibly weak. Each to their own, though!

Nevertheless, the vegan movement has definitely caught my attention. I'm not a vegan or even a veggie, but I've quit dairy and eat meat only once or twice a week. When I do, it's fish. Not so long ago, I couldn't go a day without the stuff. Today I had lamb chops and they genuinely made me feel sick.

I can imagine by the end of this year, eating only a piece of fish per week and a vegan diet for the rest of it. It's more about health for me than just the ethics.

I'm probably going to sound like a cold-hearted, horrible individual but I've seen many videos and none made me want to stop eating meat (although I do plan to). Oddly enough, the unnecessary amount of resources we use on animals for slaughter and the overall environmental impact get to me more since those are pretty much things that could have an impact on me directly, which is quite selfish.

I'm not going to argue with you're reasoning!!!
I admire how much you value the environmental side of things
I recently went vegan and so far so good. i would say if you wanted to become vegan, make sure to ease into it. It's gonna be hard but start slowly cutting out different elements, for example, first meat, then fish, out right dairy products (e.g. milk, eggs etc), and then hidden meat and dairy products (e.g. gelatin, shop bought cakes and biscuits). Do lots of research on recipes and substitutions you could use when cooking.

I would die without ever eating meat.
I'm vegetarian and I don't eat egg.I've been vegetarian for just over 4 years now.
I am planning to turn into a vegetarian soon, I'd never be a vegan though.
Recently became vegetarian and so far so good! I don't especially miss meat but was really annoyed to see that flumps (marshmallows) have gelatine in them.

I would like to eventually become vegan, but want to get used to not eating meat first and then slowly phase out other animal products. Currently I'm going through the process of swapping out all of my cosmetics for vegan and cruelty free versions too.

There always one ****ing clown on vegan/vegetarian threads that thinks he's hilarious.

Get some new material you moron.
veganism is against god, how could you not scrubs
I'm vegetarian. I used to be super preachy but now I'm pretty chill about people's rights to choosing what they want to eat. I want to go vegan when I go to university, under the roof of my mum and dad I'm not allowed which sucks a bit.
