Yeah I've done sociology GCSE 3 years ago a fun subject. I was gunna do psychology but it's also considered a light subject and I wanna go to LSE uni
One of my uni option is also LSE along with UCL and KCL to study Law, there are no specific subject requirements however the entry requirements is A*AA therefore I picked sociology as a subject I am confident I will get an A* in and also it being fun is a bonus

I'm well aware there are no requirements I'm considering it myself
I went to the first lecture and I realised I'm not actually all that interested into it and what the course entails. The exam board is EDUQAS and we're the first year to do it and there's no textbooks. Yeah i don't know it's just I feel I'm so much more interested into the geography course and also I think it links better to what I want to do when I'm older, and to my other options.
i am, normal maths is easy but i'm not used to showing so much working for things that seem incredibly basic fm is hard tho, complex numbers got me like

Same, I'm doing C1 atm for normal Maths, so far it's just basic algebra, FM on the other hand is just I had my first lesson yesterday and it was ok but needs getting used to, what other subjects are you doing?
Aw that's good 😀And yeh I'm good thank you!!!hows six form goin?
Nice!! It's been okay so far! I have quite of homework to do, which I'm going to make sure I finish today so that I can make notes and try to do some questions tomorrow. How's sixth form you?

I am! I'm only doing FM to AS though.
Oh, right, have you started learning any topics yet?
Agreed, I made most of my notes from the textbook. It takes me ages to focus the microscopes. I have to admit, seeing cells close is pretty cool. You probably use really high-tech ones in med school... What specialties are you thinking of?
The course for AS is massive and apparently it doesn't leave a lot of time for revision so I kind of hope we're not doing ASs this year. + We'd have to repeat the exams next year anyway because of the changes, although they're an hour longer. I have great teachers though so I'm feeling calm at the moment.
I'm done seeing cells up close, I can't see what the fun about it is. Neither can I see the fun behind dissection anymore, anatomy really bores me. Good question, and the truthful answer is that I have no clue! Currently, I don't want to do anything surgery related (although who knows, it may change) so we shall see
The changes are very odd. I'm glad I don't have to do the new A-Levels.
i have (somewhat). although everyone's new here so it was really easy to make friends just by asking people's names and what subjects they do. i've been spending a lot of time working instead of socialising though which is why i haven't made a proper group of friends (apart from my maths squad lol)
a good idea is to ask if anyone wants to set up a whatsapp group chat for your subjects; our maths one descended (or ascended depending on how you look at it) into memes but now i'm cool with everyone in it
why both maths and stats? surely you do stats in maths anyway
I think I'm doing M1 this year, I saw the syllabus and quite liked. Mann-whitney test, skewness, Normal distribution, Poisson distribution etc
