Glasgow Uni - What ID can i use for freshers week parties in events?

Hi everyone,
I turned 18 in July and i'm quite worried about the form of ID that can be used to enter the parties in the GUU or QMU. I have my student card with me but do they accept that? I also have a young Scot card. I don't have a provisional with me neither a passport so are these IDs convincing?
No. You need a passport, drivers licence or PASS certified card (pick whichever card you fancy http://www.pass-scheme.org.uk/card-suppliers/) if you want to prove your age to get drinks for example. To prove you're a student then yes, student card would suffice. But you probably won't get served at a bar with just a student card as ID because it isn't official.
