Why? This is crucial as if your depressed now how are you gunna get through 2 years? The workload only increases and if you have no/little motivation now how will you motivate yourself with a larger/heavier workload.
Maybe alevels aren't for you?

How did GCSEs go?

All round, very happy with my results.

Only slightly dissapointed with music, I got an A. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good result, but I'm pissed off because I got an A* in the performance section and an A* in the composition section, where our musical abilities are actually examined. I got a B in the exam (2UMS off an A) which tests your memory if anything. (Most of the course was memorising a textbook then regurgitating it in the exam).

Thanks so much  So your not making revision notes as you go along? We've had basically no guidance haha

No as I mind map and split everything into sections I have November mocks so will begin making revision notes next month
Can you speak to head of sixth form? Can you possibly move school? Or can you suck it up and get on with it?
I think that's just a thing there's a clique at my school like it. You've just got to ignore it. As long as you've got your friends you'll be fine. You've got to snap out of this mood because it'll make your 2 years hell
My form tutor at induction told us how to work out our independent study times, 1 hour in class = 1 hour independent study, but I'm probably gonna add 2 or 3 hours on top because I'm horrible to myself but want to succeed pretty badly. In total, that's about 16 1/2 hours independent study per week. Wish me luck :h:

Sounds like you have a lot of free periods and time outside of sixth form - to be able to put in 16 hours of independent study in a week. :lolwut:
Give it a chance. But you've got to think positive

I have 11 frees per week and then every night I have 6:30-8;00 every night to do homework as that's a set time by my school as I'm in boarding school

Quite a bit, my college have an independent study area for those who want to study without any distractions. I'll probably spend my 4 1/2 hour frees on a Friday there, maybe the 2 hour ones as well :P

But as it goes, this is my complete weekly timetable!

(I do actually love it!)

Oh wow, I suppose boarding schools have more control over your time, though :P

That's the only control they have over my time barring the time you go to bed. But even then I don't have to be working as I'm in a study by myself so I could be messing about
I would strongly advise speaking to your mum or dad or someone at school and looking your options and friendship groups I really feel like your not happy hence why your not enjoying school. Start socialising with other people they'll be new people looking for friends
Negativity is not a good thing you need positive people to get you out of the dark times of alevels
lol everyone did this 3 weeks ago but idc

Not too strange! One of my favourite animals is a chicken but I love eating it, it's really confusing!

It is tbh having your own study can be a blessing and a curse. Every sixth former including day students has a study
Since you are in 6th form now and there are new people, you can branch out and try meeting and getting along with the new folk. For me, I continued at the 6th form at my school and it seems people are sticking to their own groups as about 1/3 people are new. Back when I was in school I stopped hanging out with a group of friends for various reasons and I had no one else to hang out with for about two years except my sister and her friends as everyone already had their own groups, but partly because I was fed up with the whole friendship group thing so now I'm happy for this chance to make some new friends. So good luck!
They kind of throw you in and expect you to get used to the school in a week. If you don't? It seems like you're being left behind!

Really? My school hasn't being like that. Our form tutors ask us everyday is everything fine and our head of sixth form is great. Teachers are gradually setting more work

I got set homework in most of my classes on my first day, it was so exhausting. Yeah, the teachers are nice and all but they definitely go a lot faster than my old school, which isn't helpful as the content is more challenging. I think I'll get used to it in about a week or so.
