Urgent A level Physics help! :(

Can someone please help me with these two questions, it's my homework :smile: The first question, I don't know much about the "Newton meter" and I don't get the second question, thanks in advance <3 :smile:

For the first - Newton metre (for pressure I believe), nanometre, millimetre and megametre? Then state SI units to show the difference I guess

I know what they are lol :tongue: I just don't know how to show the Newton metre derived in base units to compare the 4....

Idk, tbh I'd just leave it as Newton metres:dontknow:

OK no worries :smile:

But for the second one, wouldn't it just be kg/cubic metre?

Yeah, seems like it, how'd you get to that though? :smile:

Well hey there, the first unit is a Newton metre, the others are different multipliers of the Newton
Nope, I googled it before making this thread, I'm just a little unclear :smile:

We did it in our lesson. If you look up the density formula, it's:
density=mass/volume
P=m/V
Kgm^-3 =Kg/m^3

Where P= Greek letter 'rho'

If that's what you're asking :tongue:

Right, so do you know what the 7 base units are?

Yes, I know that :smile: It just tells me to state the difference between them, should I just write their names? it's 3 marks and besides I can write the last 3 in base units(I think this form is also called that) i.e 1*10^-9 but how would I go about writing the first one? The Newton metre?

I was gonna go a different way altogether

Fair enough, I don’t really know where I'm going 100% tbh

That isn't a base unit, it's standard form, for base units think about your formulas. Which formulas involve Force?

Oh, sorry my bad, my brain's dead at this hour :tongue:

I know force in base units= kgms^-2
