GCSEs for medicine?

I'm in year 11 (Northern Ireland) so year 10 in England. Anyway, I've chosen
Math
English
English literature
Double award science
History
Geography
Drama
Business studies
How does this sound for medicine?

I'd take a foreign language, as although its only a requirement for one uni (UCL) it is good to have in any case. Aim for A*/As in Maths, English and science and try to get at least As in the rest, you should be fine with those choices

why only eight gcses?
also, triple science might be better. But, if you get a*s in double science and then do the sciences at a level it shouldn't matter too much
It's actually 9 considering double award counts as 2.
