Need help with computer science worksheet

Can someone walk me through step by step on how to solve this because I don't understand this question at all.

The rules batman needs to follow are
1.Always walk to the right (from our perspective)
2.Always build the second bridge at the same point or further to the right than the first bridge

I would draw a straight line between the two X marks
and build the two bridges where the rivers intersect the line you have drawn.

It doesn't make a difference because you can only travel at right angles. This is computing not maths.

This isn't even my homework but I want to know how to do it :biggrin: I don't understand the right-angle bit, could you draw bride on a picture and upload it here?
