Who else reads Breitbart?

Scroll to see replies

I find their articles poorly written and Milo as a person insufferable, though I agree with some of his views, particularly on Black Lives Matter, popular feminism and Islamism. Some of the articles on those topics are very good, if not terribly eloquent. I haven't been on in a while because their moronic support for "Daddy Trump" genuinely pains me to read. I also find him quite difficult to trust since he claims to be Christian seemingly in a way to promote his image as an impossible contrarian rather than due to any sincere belief (I hope).

Thanks for the articles...insightful.

can you stop posting? Or least change your picture? I hate reading through a thread and constantly seeing your ugly mug
Among young people? Breitbart is a fringe publication, the only people who take it seriously are the alt-right and conspiracy theorists.

If it's so insufferable, you're welcome to stop visiting the site
It makes Fox News look like The Socialist Worker.

Who's the alt-right? 60 year old pensioners or 20something angry, ignorant kids?
I've not read much on Breitbart but when I have it's been absolutely terrible, specifically with regards to climate change.

He can't be a sincere believer of Roman Catholicism since he's an active unrepentant homosexual and the infallible Church teaching is that active, unrepentant homosexuals are highly unlikely to be saved (basically: gays go to hell). A homosexual act is a mortal sin on par with bestiality, murder, rape, etc according to official dogma.

He's just against whatever he imagines liberals to be in favour of. He could've been an Episcopalian/Anglican but many liberals are that and it ruins the contrarian, ****-the-establishment-and-let's-support-a-billionaire-for-president-even-though-he's-the-establishment-personified.

White Anglo Saxon Protestant

It is the oldest and richest strata of American society, historically. Their equivalent of our aristocracy.

It's a ******** antiquated term since the so-called "W.A.S.P.s" have heavily mixed with Jews, Italians and other glaringly non-WASpy populations.

It's extremely difficult to get accurate data on who actually is a wasp anymore, let alone measure their influence or wealth. I'd like to know where you get your data from but I'm afraid you just pulled it out of your ass.

Not a single Catholic thinks this.

Even if no single Catholic believed this, the Church does. It's a mortal sin just like all those things are mortal sins.

Entertaining though, it's like the Mail on roids.

I like the fact they say what they think without giving a ****.

Well that too certainly, which puts him in a lose-lose situation. Either his faith is a facade to curry favour with the Christian right or he's like most Christians of the 21st century: cherry-picking and reforming their belief in light of the progression in scientific discoveries, human rights and social values.

My money is on the first judging by the fact he rarely agrees to debate religion with atheists and when he does (e.g. on the Rubin Report) he makes a mockery of the whole thing, deflects questions, drops his typical style of argument entirely, and claims it's a terribly boring discussion (despite world affairs revolving around that debate presently). Can anyone imagine seriously Milo waking up Sunday morning for mass? "Just off for a prayer to Lord Daddy, honey!"

Are you American?

Just wondered because you seem to be very emotional about a fairly recondite subject, and one wonders why you would care so much?
