Wait.. It says 104 Mark Equiv for Eng Lang GCSE June 2016

I know this is dead but i'm going to have to RETAKE it, i heard the mark equiv is UMS i converted 104 to raw mark and i got 50+ WTF.
It says i got a D Grade what?

Also, give me the mark equivalent for each unit in the English Lang course (including the coursework) and we can find out how far off you were from the next grade up.

Unit 3 i got 66 Mark Equiv
Whereas Eng Lang Uinit 1 Higher i got 104

So the UMS grade boundaries for your course are:
(out of 300) A* - 270 , A - 240 , B - 210 , C - 180 , D - 150

This means that overall you got 104 + 66 = 170 UMS. 180 was a C, so 10 UMS off.

So you would have to gain another 10 UMS in Unit 1 to get a C overall. This is only worth around 3 raw marks in the exam, so have you considered a remark?

You got 2 Ds in both units so I don't know why you're shocked you got a D overall...

Well in Unit 1 you got 39 marks and in Unit 3 you got 42 marks.

I think you were probably looking at foundation instead of higher when trying to find out what raw marks you got.

No I calculated higher. I was saying that YOU may have accidentally calculated using foundation, therefore you thought you got 50+ in your papers.
