My Year 10 Revision Thread To A* 2016-2017

Is anyone doing the English lit exam in January? The thought is killing me- have no idea how to revise!! (Ik it's like four months away lol)

After school. I quickly do my homeworks :biggrin:

After that, depending on how I'm feeling I study only 1 subject for 1-2 hours.

Maths: 1.Just revise what we did in school
2.Do some past papers
3. Learn some key formula's I might need

French: 1. Cue cards help me, so I make plenty of them
2. I go through my notes (We have a vocab book)
3. I try some exam questions, with the vocab I know (I use a little help from wordreference.com <-You have to limit yourself)

Buisness Studies: 1. My sister did it, so she helps me and tells me what we will do next topic
2. I make cue cards again with key terms (a lot of them)
3. I try some questions on that topic :biggrin:

Science: I don't really revise, I did most of the GCSE Science topics in Year 8 and 9 after school :biggrin:

English: I haven't started anything really :frown:

I need to tho, with the new spec

Geography: I do a CGP book (The new one)
^It actually helps a looott :biggrin:

Stats: It's not a huge amount so I haven't started

Chem: It's a huge amount of topics, so I'm doing it from bottom to top, cos they are teaching it top to bottom in school

Bio: I need to start

Physics: Only 6 topics... so I can take my time :biggrin:

aww ur organised as soon as i come back from school i :
Get some snacks and a cool drink because i will be hydrated
Do all my homework
Start to revise a certain subject for 2 hours
Have a 30 mins break
Read the book we are doing in English (Inspector Calls)
Then Sleep ma favourite xxdD

I recommend those who are doign Inspector Calls to get this revsion guide i have it and it's super handy even things your doing at school +homeworks xD

That happened to me too, even though I asked in Year 9 (now in Year 11, I just like popping in on the Yr. 10 threads :biggrin:

). Apparently there were no spaces in Geography or Spanish, so I was stuck ;-;. It's currently my worst subject, and will likely remain so until I finish my GCSEs.

I had a recent business studies test and the way I revised was picking out the certain notes on the certain topics I was being tested on and wrote each topic on a different piece of paper with mind maps and colour co-ordinated each topic. I think I did well and I'll be getting my result tomorrow

I've had quite a few tests/assessments so I have been revising. I've had 2 English ones, some spanish ones, 2 business ones a geography one, a biology one, an upcoming chemistry and maths one and I have my speaking and listening for my actual English exam- not a practice one coming up
