Steps for forming iteration equation

Hello everyone,

Please can I have some help with 13b - we haven't studied e yet so I don't know how to prove the iteration formula in 13b.

Move exe^x to the RHS. Then add xexxe^x to both sides. Factor and divide.

Did you differentiate e^x to get xe^x?

No. I simply got it from observing the wanted form.

Also when you're gonna cover ee you will find out that

ddx(ex)=ex\displaystyle \frac{\text{d}}{\text{d}x}(e^x)=e^x
