Gap year student here so I can remember which unis my friends got into and how quickly. The school made us apply by December at the lasted and I don't remember anyone getting offers after January/ very early February (especially in a friendship group of 30)
I have to say I can think of at least 3 people off the top of my head who got offers from Warwick in less than 2 days. One got an acknowledgement of receipt of application around 12ish and an offer by the end of the school day! Bristol I remember were quite fast as well. Nottingham take about 6 weeks on average so not too bad
Any idea how long Edinburgh take?
hoping to send my application off soon (for law), its so nerve wracking! :s-smilie:

10 hours! Fook that seems a lot, I would've said I've spent about 5 hours of pure writing/editing/speaking with people about it

I've seen worse to be honest. Last year some people were submitting in their first personal statement drafts for UCAS a day before the school deadline.

In my personal experience for Mech Eng, Liverpool gave me an offer in 2 days but Nottingham took until late December and I submitted in late September
