BREAKING: Bombing Suspect Ahmad Rahami Was Known To FBI

Authorities have identified a suspect in connection with the New York City bombing that injured 29 people.

Ahmad Khan Rahami, 28, is being sought in connection to the Saturday evening explosionin Manhattan’s Chelseaneighborhood, the New York City Police Department and FBI said early Monday.

Ahmad Rahami’s father told authorities two years ago that his son was a terrorist – prompting the feds to investigate the future New York and New Jersey bombing suspect, The New York Times reported Tuesday.

Sometimes I feel like there are four or five first and second names that get used for 90% of Muslim men.


Also, not only is this guy a scumbag, but I'm also very pleased that all he managed to do is blow up a bin and break a few windows. What a hopeless idiot.

there basically are, as I understand it there's quite a strong tradition in multiple areas for the first boy to be named some variant of Muhammad, hence you say so many.

In fairness, look at a country like Cyprus, where there's only like 5 names for men and they rotate on a first name/middle name cycle. George, Andrew, Michael, Chris. Your get named George Andrew, you name your son Andrew George, he names his son George Andrew and so on.
