No it wouldn't. For places like LSE, Durham etc just get an A*/A in A2 Maths and you should be set

Mate if you can't solve 3x3 matrices, do 3D transformations of planes and lines, solve triple simultaneous equations, sketch polar curves, solve second order DE's then Economics isn't quite for you, I'm sad to say.
