As I said, no point discussing this. I actually have a good friend from KCL going to Laz - he enjoyed his spring there.

The point is that you're giving wrong advice. See how important this is when TSR ranks well on google?

F*ck me, you're not a bright one.

You struggled with further maths, so I can understand why you can't reason.

I presented facts, you couldn't disprove them, so you cowered back to your little hole.

Unlike you, I talk about what I've experienced.

You're just a poly-quality student fantasizing on TSR.

Again mate, your ilk making new accounts on here doesn't faze me anymore. I couldn't give two craps about someone getting butthurt over the word 'semi-target' nor someone who has the ****ing audacity to start insulting me when I haven't done so to them.

So first, **** you. And second, go live in your fantasy land and harass some other TSR schmuck because I am not having this.

it's a semi-target bro

proportionately sends in a lot less people than the targets previously aforementiond. to put it in context out of about ~50-55 IBD interns in my summer class, 0 were from kings, wheras the targets at the top had atleast 2-3+ from each (with a cocnsiderable weighting on oxbridge)

the point is not to say it's a bad school, as i've done several spring weeks and kings had atleast 1-2 people from the various banks that i've been too, it's just not as strong in sending kids into banking than some other schools.

Another pseudo-intellectual.

No university "sends" people in.

The only meaningful measure of a target university are fast track programs and general sponsorship for FO and high finance in general.

Think about this for a bit, then try to come up with a coherent response.

All you've proved to me is that KCL students probably tend to be less competent than others at "target" universities.

Once again, doesn't prove KCL is not a target. Maybe just that it's students tend to be stupid. Which would be the result of lax entry requirements.

It's not hard to get in. Nothing to brag about.

I'm sure they are! But it's still nothing to start slinging **** over, eh?

this is the differentiating factor between targets and semi-targets, so to speak - these are unnoficial terms to define just that

and it's not probable. it's historically (and consistently to that matter) statistically defined

Will do boss, but first item on the agenda is to get royally smashed.

Imo, don't know why you made a new account just for this. You a bit bored in the first week of uni?*

If that's what you mean by semi-target, then sure.

But the implication of "semi-target" is different.

The reason why I qualified what I said with "probably" is that I don't have any data, and I don't enjoy talking crap.

Informally however, I would agree.

I've lurked on TSR for a while, but never made an account.

I actually came here to ask a question about IB.

Fair play dude.

As far as I know, kcl is a semi target, so you have a chance.

Oxbridge tends to be the biggest target, followed by LSE, Imperial, UCL and Warwick.

oh yeah, an A2 LSE wannabe who hasn't even got a clue about university deadlines. Surely he has a sound experience in the industry, most he's probably done is working at Argos. So much banter about unis, but we will see where he is in three years time

mate i'm cambridge econ...

when i see good banter i applaud it - dont take it personally

p.s. i turned down lse - you think that low of me?
