Do u sign a contract when you work?

Yeah you should have signed one.

I assume not from what you've said there!
But yeah you do have to sign one usually!

Unfortunately I haven't
I feel like they are using me for extra hours
I don't even know what my overtime is unfortunately
I'll query with this tomorrow

I thought working for a big company such as wilko, they should be more professional but I guess that's not the case for me

So, I got a part time job at wilkos
When I applied for the job, it said 7 hours a week
They are making me work more than this and they said I'm contracted to weekends which I'm okay with.
I didn't sign a contract or anything, should I have?

Yeah, they usually have you sign one before you start working. Definitely request to see your contract, and ask about signing it. Your contracted hours are basically what you sign to do, and the rest is overtime. In retail, it's to be expected that you'll work more than your contracted hours unless you state otherwise in interview. Usually they'll ask about availability and they'll go from there. Every part time contract at HMV when I worked there was 16 hours, but that was just standard. We all worked between 25 and 35+ hours a week
