y=5y=5 is not an asymptote.

limx2x+1x2=limx2+1x12x=2\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow \infty} \frac{2x+1}{x-2} = \lim_{x\rightarrow \infty} \frac{2+\frac{1}{x}}{1-\frac{2}{x}} = 2 so the asymptote is y=2y=2

With y asymptotes you are always looking for a value that the function tends towards as x goes to infinity. You can see that from your form if you separate it into 2 different fractions and get a form of 2+5x22+\frac{5}{x-2} and the denominator goes to infinity as x goes to infinity therefore you're left with 2 since the whole fraction goes to 0.
