Yep, it will be soon transferred to the other laptop - however, I am worried that what I had to do earlier this week, to get the new thread up and running, had permanently damaged my battery and has taken about 30 minutes away from the perfect battery life...

Try not to worry, with regards to the laptop battery capacity decreasing - it would have naturally done so over time, irrespective of the tasks completed on the laptop whilst on both battery and mains, surely? :colondollar:

Yes, you are fundamentally correct - the more a battery is used, the less charge it will hold the next time. I suppose that the lack of use of the laptop for some periods, and the large battery use on CTAM, may have both compensated for the 5% loss. However, that does mean I still have 95% capacity available to me, which should still get me about 4-5 hours under normal use, 6+ hours on lighter tasks, and a theoretical max of 7.5 hours. :smile:
