Thanks - I'm trying to find a way that doesn't require opening up a web page - so trying to get an app or link in outlook express or something like that.

Also is my Raven login different to my Hermes one?
Has anyone downloaded the free Microsoft software or anti virus software yet?

I use Thunderbird for mail + calendar. It's made by Mozilla, who also made Firefox. Works fine with hermes accounts.
One of the colleagues is a welsh and that was his idea to go to snowdonia 'so that people can enjoy beautiful wales.' Another colleague who's from Uruguay likes the idea a lot because he'd never been to Wales. They all confirmed wales is very wet. But to be fair they all seemed to have enjoyed a lot, in spite of the weather. On the way to the top,of snowdonia they came across a group of young people shivering with their flip-flopped feet........
Her school always does, their DofE expedition for silver and gold in Brecon Beacon. Many schools does, too. I know a girl's school in north London that does their DofE expedition in Amersham (terminal station of metropolitan line, London undergraound), going there and coming back on a tube........
I never completed DofE (instructor went AWOL – a long story) but the idea of travelling halfway across the country is a bit alien to me given all the people I know who did do it. I guess because I live somewhere so rural there's just no need to go and do it in a faraway bit of countryside, when you can do it in countryside close to home.

Somewhere there are instructions on how to add Hermes to Outlook, or when you get to Cam a computer officer can help you be able to view it on your phone/tablet via its inbuilt email app.

lol that's what I typed and auto-spelling correction changed it.....:0
And lol no.2. That's exactly the same model and colour I use at home. I like it because it's so easy but my sustainable engineering-specialist niece accuses me for being extremely environmentally-unfriendly........

Yes - we have a "normal" espresso machine at home but that one is nice and convenient for a student... he's already ordered a pack of 100 "compatible" cartridges with a wide selection of different coffees.

Depriving Christ's from making money out of his caffein addiction.
Haven't posted here in a while but I guess a lot of us are arriving in the next few days/have already arrived so...
Good luck and have fun in Cambridge! It's been a thrilling ride with you all. Including all the ups and downs, the whole application process wouldn't have been as exciting and entertaining as it has been without the people here. I'll definitely see some of you soon especially Christ's and Phys NatSci freshers but I do hope that a lot of us continue to use TSR to some extent. I'd be interested to read on this thread what you are all up to in a few months. Many thanks once again to the adult crew @vincrows, @jneill and CAT now known as @Murray Edwards Admissions, and already-students as well as graduates for all the help and advice you've given us. I'm wishing you all the very very best!

Lots of love, C0balt
It's not going to get all emotional in here again is it?!
It's been an absolute delight to have been allowed to be with you all on this amazing journey. And yes it's nearly time for you to take that next step on what I'm sure promises to be quite an experience for you at Cambridge; some of it will be brilliant, some not so good. Whatever happens - I know you will all make the very most of it.
And try to take a breath every once in a while to just... be.
