AS grades (achieved): I resat and so in the end got A - biology, A - maths, A - chemistry, C - physics.
A2 grades (achieved): B - biology, B - maths and B - chemistry.. Resitting a few modules to bring up to AAA/A*AA *I can dream aha*

Wow! Congratulations! I'm not from Germany(although I'm also an EU applicant) but I know exactly what 1.0 means - and yes, it is A* A* A*!

GCSE grades: Maths B, English B, Science C, Business B, Welsh 2nd Language B, Additional Science D(I lost a third of the marks because I was ill and couldn't do the controlled assessments), OCR IT Merit, and History B(I think)
AS grades (predicted/achieved): Doing BTEC
A2 grades (predicted/achieved): BTEC IT L3 Extended Diploma. Got Distinctions straight through for the 1st year. Most likely going to get the same this year, so D*D*D* overall

Oh thank you! :smile: Where are you from, then, if it's okay to ask? And what are you applying for? :smile:
(For the Abitur grade - I think technically it has to be A*A*A* because it's the best possible grade but I think they might not regard it as this because there might understandably be a bias towards UK qualifications, also as they might not know so much about the Abitur, probably they don't have time to know everything about every qualification..)

Oh of course they do! Don't worry about this - especially at universities like Oxford and Durham, admissions tutors know exactly how to assess overseas applicants - after all, it's these equivalencies they base conditions on! (In your case of course, this is irrelevant as you're a post-qualification applicant, like me.) I'm speaking from experience. By the way, I'm from Hungary and I'm applying for English.
