There's no filter on the word "sex".

I don't know about you, but I get into a relationship if I really like someone and want to develop a deeper love with them. Sex is just a tool to deepen that connection.

I don't "believe" in sex before marriage. I don't think sex is something sacred that needs to be worshipped, as it is in waiting for marriage. If I really like someone, I'll have sex with them. Only if there's a mutual attraction and I plan on moving forward into a relationship, or am in a relationship with them (not applicable to guys: I only have a sexual attraction to some guys, no romantic attraction whatsoever).

I also don't treat relationships as temporary things that will come and go. I want it to last.

cool, a lot of people believe in it because the Abrahamic religions continuously emphasise that sex before marriage is one of the major sins

if your girlfriend wanted to remain celibate would you still be with her? seeing as you said sex is merely a deeper tool to strengthen the relationship

I'm aware. That stems from an evolutionary desire for partners without children, as caring for children that aren't related to you is a waste of energy from an evolutionary standing. Sex is meant for children, so virgins were held in high esteem as they had no children.

It depends on how much I already like her. By celibate, do you mean just no sex or no sexual anything? I'd probably not be able to go without sexual contact because I don't masturbate or watch porn, so I'll end up getting incredibly frustrated. I can do without vaginal intercourse for a few years of a relationship until marriage.

I answered the first part in an edit.

I agree with this. I was speaking from an evolutionary perspective. It does feel special having someone that's never loved another man fall in love with you, and you fall in love with her, though.
