My son has just returned to University for his second year and yesterday I was made redundant. I am a single parent with no income. Are there are living grants he can claim or do I claim them. Will he have to pay the living grant back after un. i.e is it a loan.

He needs to fill in a change of circumstances form, he should then get reassessed and possibly get a higher loan (assuming you live in England,where grants don't exist anymore)
